Oat & Choc Chip Cookies – Dad's Oats

Oat & Choc Chip Cookies


125g unsalted butter

25g castor sugar

60g soft brown sugar

100g self-raising flour

100g rolled oats

¾ cup dark choc chips

(other nuts and seeds can be added if desired)


Preheat oven to 160 degrees C. Line a baking tray with baking paper.

Cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Stir in flour, oats and choc chips.
Place spoonfuls on the baking tray and flatten slightly.  Bake for 15-20 minutes until lightly golden brown.
Cool completely on a rack.
Storage tips: Store in an air-tight container. These probably won’t last long*.
*because they taste so good.
